Description
In 1974, during his freshman year at Morgan State University, Robert Peterson participated in the Maryland Marathon, completing the Olympic distance of 26 miles, 385 yards in 3 hours 19 minutes 31 seconds. The next spring, Peterson ran the Boston Marathon. He is still a runner today and can be seen out for a run any day. (Courtesy of the Randall family.)
